Pramono Emphasizes Official Appointments Based on Credibility

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung emphasized that he always prioritizes the credibility of individuals appointed to official positions. He also ensured that he knew the individual personally.

"When I appoint anyone to be a commissioner, I have to know the person and the credibility," he said, Tuesday (8/5).

He cited the appointment of former Jakarta City Council Chairman Prasetyo Edi Marsudi as Chairman of the PAM Jaya Supervisory Board. He noted that Prasetyo Edi, with two terms as City Council Chairman, understands PAM Jaya's affairs.

"As the chairman of city council for two periods, he knows much about PAM Jaya," he added.

Pramono also emphasized that almost all the people he appointed were individuals who had the capacity and competence according to the positions given.

"Those who were appointed have capacity for the position, and I know them well," he stated.
